Jeff was just the BEST.  I met Jeff at an Enrrgy Efficiency seminar in 2012. I'm an architect, and building codes were changing. We became personal friends attending several classes, and then he needed some help with a job.  I did the drawings, got permits, and did the project management.  When it was time to get paid, the owner wanted me to wait for him to get his rebate (a year or two later). Jeff spoke up.  He got me paid. First time that happened.  There are many more stories I have. He was just the BEST. Fair, compassionate, tells it like it is. Most men don't talk, but I would talk. He would listen then answer. RARE!  I told Alma who I met early on after I met Jeff, " You won't find another like him." Needless to say, I miss Jeff.  

Want to send our love to the family , Jeff was always a leader in new ventures and kept us on our toes , I met Jeff on a job in La Jolla years ago , we’ve always been friends through our ups and downs , he would always talk about his 2 daughters , and I would always ask about them to keep me posted , when he showed me his ankle at a job I talked to Jeff that he needed  to get ‘em care asap with the help of Alma he still kept us on our toes ,just a all around good soul …we know where he’s at , in the author of loves care in his new body and we are guaranteed to see him again …in the name of his son who sits on his right side we pray for healing and wisdom to guide us …NEVER GOOD BYE ALWAYS SEE YOU LATER 👋…..

I'm really very sorry to receive your email. I'm sorry for your loss and the sadness his absence has created. 

I wanted to post a memory of Jeff, but I couldn't figure out how to leave a comment. So here it is:

I met Jeff as an electrician that did some work for a landlord who was renting a house to me. Within 10 minutes I saw what kind of man he was. After a long conversation I asked him his hourly rate. I knew a family that was struggling financially but they needed an electrician. He instantly volunteered to help them with a visit at no charge. That must have been back in 2007/2008. We were friends ever since that day.
He was always trying to help someone with something. If anyone needed help, it was an automatic yes. 
His demeanor was soft spoken but sure of himself, strong willed, hardworking, polite and kind.

Just talking about him now, I miss him.
I'm glad that he had you Alma & you had him. That is a wonderful thing for both of you. 
I will try to make it if I'm well enough. But I'll be there in spirit no matter what.

Alma, I’m very sorry to hear about Jeff. 

I knew him professionally and he was such a kind person to work with. He will be missed 

Jeff was so much more than a skilled electrician who donated his time to members of the church and community. He was a loving husband to his dearest Alma, a caring father to his daughters, and fun friend to all who knew and were privileged to work with him. His kind presence will be greatly missed. We are confident that the Lord has healed his body and is holding him now, pain free in the glory of heaven.  May the memories of happy times shared will Jeff fill our hearts and minds, replacing the great sorrow that we are all feeling at the loss of our friend Jeff.

I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but I am very fond of his 2 daughters- Valeria and Michelle ❤️ My deepest most sincere condolences to your families🙏🏼 Love always, Vero!
