Jeff is a retired U.S. Navy Senior Chief. He loved being near the ocean, fishing, off roading and enjoying time on his or his sons boat.

He is a graduate of Jefferson High School in Lafayette, IN.

Jeff married Susan Harmon in 1974 - divorced 1981 and Emelinda Reutotar in 1987 - divorced 1998

He is survived by siblings Steven L. Shipley of Chula Vista, CA; Linda Valashategis of Newbury, MA; Joyce Shipley-Alders of Hampton, NH; and Carol Sery of Montgomery, MN. Children Stephanie Bickers, FL; Anna Marie Shipley, NH, Jeffrey L Shipley Jr, CA; his grandsons Kelly, Reece, Matayas, Kaleb, George and his niece Katie Gibson”
