Josefina Servin Morales

Josefina Servin Morales, of Chula Vista, passed away on January 25, 2017. She was born in Mexico, D.F. on March 19, 1932. She had a career as a vocational bilingual secretary. In 1961 she married Jorge Morales Peralta. They were blessed with a long marriage and a large family.

Josefina will be remembered for her zest of life. She enjoyed being surrounded by her loved ones. She had a keen sense of humor and knew how to tell jokes that always put a smile on everyone's face. She also had a passion for dancing and keeping things lively. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, family and friends alike.

Josefina is survived by her 12 children; Elvia, Lidia, Amelia, Georgina, Maria de los Angeles, Yolanda, Carlos, Ernesto, Hugo, Eduardo, Peggy and Jose. Her legacy includes 28 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Jorge and her brother Heriberto Servin.

A celebration of life and visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Berge Roberts, 607 National City Blvd., National City, CA 91950 on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On Wednesday, February 1, 2017, a mass will be celebrated in her honor at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1770 Kearney Avenue, San Diego, CA 92113. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA 92102.
