Irene I want you to know how much Joseph meant to our family. Even after Taylor left for college he would stop by from time to  time and chat with me. I was honored that he trusted me. Joseph had a heart like no other and was a joy to be around. I will miss his smile as it was so genuine! My prayers are with you and Jessica as there are no words that truely comfort.

I can't believe you're gone Joseph. It just feels so unreal. All my prayers go out to your family. Every morning I pray and light 3 candles. One for you, my brother, and Xavier. Every night I do the same thing. I will never forget you. I hope that these words reach you in heaven and I will write here frequently. I love you so much babe. You made a huge impact on my life. You showed me that there are really good people out there and that there is such a thing as an amazing boyfriend. You helped me so much with so many things, especially with my son. I saw that you cared for him too and it was a great thing because we all got along so well. I've been thinking about you non stop and I have been reading the last texts we sent each other. It hurts so much because we were talking about how we wanna work things out and that we care about each other a lot. Then the next day I find out that you're gone. It's not fair that you're life was taken away so soon. You should be sitting here with me on the couch watching a movie right now. It was hard saying my last goodbyes to you. Seeing you in front of me was a hard thing but I'm glad I got to kiss you goodbye. It just sucks that I've been crying off and on. I wanna be happy with you. I've just felt so depressed lately. This is the third death I've had to go through and it gets harder and harder each time. Depression is really setting in and I'm forcing myself to try and be happy but it's hard. I still have your number in my phone and I don't think I'll be able to erase it. I want it to seem like you're still here. I want to hear your voice on the other end. When I saw you I told you to wake up, that this snit happening. This has to be a dream or something because I can't take this. I care for you a lot. You were more than a boyfriend to me. You were also a best friend. You always made me laugh and smile no matter what. You could cheer up anyone's day. You just had this glow and amazing personality. I don't think I will ever meet another person like you. I miss all the funny little things you used to say. I miss cuddling with you on the couch. I miss holding your hand and being able to tell you I love you. This is very painful for me babe. I wish you were here with me. I am so sorry this happened to you. Wait for me in heaven and we will meet again. This wasn't our last goodbye. One day we will be together again ok. Just know that I love you and I'm praying for you and your family every day. I know you're in Gods hands now and he'll take care of you. I love you Joseph.

I posted something yesterday I dont think it went through because it was too long or something. I'll post it again later today. I just wanted to say I love you Jospeh. I'm making my morning coffee right now and I was reminiscing about when I used to always make us coffee and how I would get mad if you didn't finish it. You would always say you would finish your cup and never did. It was kind of funny. I'm about to say my morning prayers and I just wanted to post something before work. I miss you and love you babe.

I know we can't mend the piece of your heart that will always be with joseph, but your courage and strength to raise someone that turned into such a nice young man is trully an inspiration. Joseph's spirit will live on and be the inspiration to so many of the young adults in his life. You should be proud of the legacy that joseph has built.
