Ms. Josephine Garcia passed away on November 9, 2019. Born on March 19, 1931 to Teofolio Castillo and Bernave Vasquez in Fort Worth TX. She married Pete Garcia in 1951 and had seven children. Surviving children are: Yolanda Rodriquez, Joe Garcia, Leonard Garcia, Carlos Garcia, James Garcia, and Olga Lopez. Roy Garcia predecease her.
She had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Totaling together 38. She moved from Fort Worth TX to Santa Maria CA in 1955 and then to San Diego CA in 1968.
She worked at a frozen food factory, a medical institution, and retired from a tuna factory. Her favorite hobby was helping her husband with gardening and keeping their home orderly, offering many family and friends their hospitality. She spent her last years taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Both her and her husband loved their family get-togethers and were proud of the family unity. A truly loved person who will be missed immensely.
