Grandpa was such a good grandpa to all of us! My heart just smiles when I think of all the memories. My best memories of him include trips to McDonalds for breakfast, lunch and dinner, weekends at his house in Tijuana, and going to get fresh tortillas together. He used to go to my mom’s to pick up my bags for the weekend then park at the little grocery store by my middle school and wait for me to get out of school so we could head to TJ with grandma. I’d spend the weekend there or even weeks during summer. Another memory I have is seeing all the child workers at Calimax by the house bagging groceries and I wanted to work with them during the summer so bad! He’d just laugh about it but one day he let me inquire about a job. I think the manager at Calimax just laughed at me! One more fun memory is when he used to dust the Jeep before heading out, Tommy and I used to put the towels he used on top of the Jeep so when he’d start driving away, they’d fly off. He’d get so mad at us and we just thought it was the funniest thing ever! Sorry grandpa! One of the best memories is dancing with him at one of the parties in the colonia. I was so embarrassed to dance and he took me to the middle of the dance floor and danced away with me. I wish I could find that photo! Miss you and love you Grandpa.

I was so lucky to grown-up with The Dominguez Family Mr. D or as I called him DAd was a kind yet strict man That had much love for his family and all the kids in the neighborhood. When he would go to Stater Bros shopping he would bring Cec and me back some M M's He would ask us if we wanted plain or peanuts...I also went with them to the house in TJ. I remember that at that time there was not many home around .But now it's all built up...He laughed at me because I made stairs out of dirt ..And I remember seeing him in his more difficult times and when he heard me laugh he had a spark. Made me feel happy to give him a smile♡.I will never for get him..Rest in Peace Dad🙏
