Julian Enrique Martinez, of Chula Vista, passed away January 8, 2017. He was born October 16, 1993 in La Mesa, CA, the son of Carl and Maria Martinez. He attended Coronado High School 9th-11th grade and graduated in 2011 from Glendale High School in Springfield, MO. Julian was living in Big Bear, CA pursuing work as a snow board instructor.
Julian enjoyed work as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. He obtained his firefighter certification in Rogersville, MO and EMT certification in San Diego, CA. He loved snowboarding, music and family.
Julian is survived by his parents, Carl and Maria Martinez; his stepparents Natalie Martinez and Joe Santos, sisters Sage, Sienna, Ava and Brynna and his brother Johann. He also leaves his maternal grandfather, Henry Munoz; and his paternal grandparents, Angel and Susan Martinez. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
