Lawrence James Young, age 70, of Chula Vista, California passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Lawrence was born March 27, 1952 in Pennsylvania.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Brigitte L. Young; his daughter Melanie Negrete; and his daughter Melissa Young; his sister Lorraine Bender, his brother Leonard Young, his brother Steven Young, his step sister Mary Parke, his step sister Sara Barrette, his step sister Iona Partlow, his step sister Cassie Seifrit and his step brother Joseph Seifrit; his granddaughter Valerie Negrete and his grandson Carlos Arias.

A viewing for Lawrence will be held Sunday, September 4, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Chula Vista, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. A celebration of life will occur Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Funerarie Del Angel Chula Vista. A military honors will occur Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Dr., San Diego, CA 92122.
