Linda Eilean Fisher

Our much-loved wife, mother, nana, daughter and sister, Linda Eilean Fisher passed away peacefully at her home August 25, 2019 with her family present. She had bravely confronted and fought cancer. She was born April 13, 1945 in San Diego, CA, and resided in La Mesa, CA. She graduated from Helix High School in 1964.

Linda’s passion was her family and for volunteering at her local elementary school for many decades. She was also involved in youth sports organizations when her children were young. Linda loved being surrounded by children at all times. Those who knew Linda know she hated being fussed over and would rather give than receive.

She is survived by the love of her life, husband of 52+ years, Kent Fisher of La Mesa, son Brian Fisher and wife Michelle of Sarasota, FL; daughter Lesa Alvarez and husband Jaime of San Diego; grandsons Kyle, Brett, Jacob and Ryan Fisher, Alexander Alvarez, and only granddaughter Vanessa Alvarez. Linda is also survived by her mother Dorene Snyder of El Cajon, CA and sister Barbara Brady of El Cajon, CA. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Maleski.

A family celebration of life for Linda is being planned.
