

Martin G. Naranjo had a career in the construction industry. He was a member of Laborer’s Union Local #89 and Cement Mason Union Local #744 for 25 years. He had a hand in providing his craft to many of the large construction projects and iconic buildings in San Diego, California.
He was born in Calexico, California, on May 5, 1931. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mrs. Ana Lares Naranjo.
He is also survived by his son’s: Eduardo M. Naranjo of Murrieta, Ca; Roberto L. Naranjo of San Diego, Ca; Victor Naranjo of Lyon, France; daughters: Consuelo Naranjo Valdez of Escondido, Ca; Ana Maria Naranjo Gonzales of National City, Ca; Victoria Naranjo Marcy of Olathe, Kansas; and preceded in death by his son, Daniel Lares Naranjo, of Jamul, Ca.
Martin is survived by two brothers; Rafael G. Naranjo and Raul G. Naranjo. Siblings who predeceased him are Antonio G. Naranjo; Roberto C. Morales; Maria de Jesus Vindiola, Concepción M. Rodriguez; and Carmela M. Romero;
His legacy includes 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral arrangements will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway Street, Chula Vista, Ca. 91910 at 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday, September 22, 2013.
A Funeral Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey in Chula Vista, Ca., at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2013, followed by interment services at Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego, Ca.
