Born to Mary and Elmer Helton on September 16, 1948 in National City California. She was the second of the 5 Helton children. She has been a lifelong resident of San Diego County. She attended Mar Vista High School. She worked for the First United Methodist Church in Chula Vista caring for children in the nursery and also providing childcare in private settings. She led a Christian life and each year grew stronger in her faith. She enjoyed working with crafts and shared her talent through the years with children and family. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchild. She loved her family and extended family dearly and will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
