Mercedes A. Hernandez of Chula Vista, California passed away at the age of 80 years old. She is survived by her loving family Daughters Edda Hernandez, Marisela Villalva, Mercedes Hernandez, Son Aristeo Hernandez Jr., Daughter-in-law Anita, Son-in-law Sergio, 5 grandchildren Monique, Anthony, Sergio Jr., Marcos, Alex, 4 great grandchildren Isaiah, Juliana, Mark Jr., and Santiago. Mercedes was born on May 17, 1935 in Mexico to Jose Arce and Dolores Rico.
She was a loving and caring mother, who loved all her children and her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A viewing will take place on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 5:00-9:00pm followed by a funeral service on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 11:00an in the Serenity Chapel located at Funeraria del Angel Humphrey: 753 Broadway, Chula Vista CA 91910. Mercedes will be laid to rest by her husband side at Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
