Mercedes Solis passed away August 18, 2011. She was born March 7, 1931 to Herman and Sara Ramirez in Los Angeles, CA. Mercy became a resident of Imperial Beach, CA in 1954 and worked at North Island Naval Air Station in Coronado, CA for many years as a Contract Administrator before retiring in 2001. Along the way, she made several close friends whom she enjoyed and kept in contact with. Mercy was the cornerstone of the Solis Family whom she loved dearly, always thinking of others first rather than herself to the very end. She is survived by three sons Michael, David, Jerry, daughter-in-law Kelli Hopper and three grand children Joseph, Sarah and Ethan Solis. She will be missed by countless friends, co-workers and her family.
Services will be held at St. Charles Catholic Church in Imperial Beach, CA. on Saturday, Sept 3rd at 12pm.
