

She graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in education and became a Physical Education teacher. She became “Coach” to many of her students and is fondly remembered for her teaching, caring and ability to help provide direction. Retiring from teaching after 38 years, she became a renown potter.She was a member of St. Peters by the Sea, the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Point Loma High School Alumni and the Potters Guild.
Patricia is survived by her son David and his wife Carol, grand-daughter Genyva, Niece Laurel and her husband Rich, Nephew Mark and his wife Karin, Nephew Geoffrey and his wife Jennifer, and grand-nieces and nephews.
Patricia will be interred alongside her husband Charles, at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at St. Peter’s By-the-Sea Lutheran Church, 1371 Sunset Cliffs Blvd on Friday, December 30th at 10:00 a.m. Reception immediately following.
