

Paulino Bamba Sanchez, 61, of San Diego, CA, passed away April 29, 2016. Paulino was born in San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines on November 13, 1954. Paulino enlisted into the U.S. Navy at the age of 18 and, after 20 years, retired as a Ship’s Serviceman First Class (SH1). After a successful career with the Navy, Paulino pursued a second career with the Department of Homeland Security as a Customs and Border Protection Officer in 2000.
Paulino was married to Violeta Ramos Sanchez on June 11, 1983; they were married for 33 years. Paulino was passionate about music and enjoyed to playing the guitar and singing. His son, Ryan Sanchez; his two grandchildren; his 3 sisters, Arcelia Sanchez Sandico, Remedios Bamba Sanchez, and Maria Sanchez Pangilinan; and his brother, Ricardo Bamba Sanchez, survived Paulino. Paulino is preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo Sanchez and Virginia Sanchez; as well as his 2 brothers, Quezon Sanchez and Edison Sanchez.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on May 14th 2016 at Mater Dei Catholic Church. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM on May 12-13, 2016 at Funeraria del Angel Humphrey. Burial will follow the funeral at Greenwood Memorial Park & Mortuary at 11:30 AM. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey.
