Till this day i cannot stop thinking about Mr rojas i remember my first year of 4th grade i still didn’t know english i remember i got lost around the cafeteria and he asked me if im okay i said yes just looking for my lunch card and he gave me a food bar that really made me happy everyday from that day i will always look for him to talk or hang out or he will give me snacks till I graduated 6th grade i remember the last hug i gave him and i remember that i promise to see him after i graduate high school i wish i did to be honest till this day i cannot stop thinking about him and i will forever remember him .

Phillip was a man of integrity and lots of love. He was a role model for so many, with his peace filled spirit, and the serenity that most only hope for. Even though we’re on the other side of the country, my girls and I are grieving the loss of such a wonderful man. We love you, Diane. 

Mi Querido primo Felipe, when I came from Mexico, to stay with your parents, mis tios, you were the one that helped me with my sadness of leaving my family and my country ❤️
I will be forever grateful to you!! Your care and love helped me to overcome the difficult time I was going through.
Specially not been able to speak in English. Being homesick was very hard for me, but when you were around it wasn't so bad to be away from my family and friends...!!!
Thank you Felipon for being around when I needed you the most in my life!!
Although we didn't see each other for a long time..... I have a special place in my heart for you ❤️
May God keep you in his love in heaven 🙏

I have nothing but the best memories of you Tio. I will never forget our basketball games, your laughs, your expressions, your words of encouragement but most of all your love. I am going to miss you saying “What up girlfriend!”Fly high Tio and when it’s my turn to join the heavenly ranks, toe that line. HOOAH!

Thank you to the love of my life my everything for the life we created and the beautiful memories we made. Thank you for loving me. You have a heart soft and comforting like a cloud but also the heart of a soldier who never gives up. I love you for all you are.  You fought the fight until God called you home. Mr. Rojas was a very kind hearted and helpful person during my years working with him at Otay Elementary School.  I will remember his positivity and friendly smile fondly. Rest In Peace.  With love to the family, Neeru Castrapel
