Ralph David Holloway, 94, a resident of Chula Vista, California, passed away on August 27, 2026. Born December 11, 1931, in Santa Rosa, Florida, Ralph will be remembered as a devoted and beloved presence—hard-working in all he set his hand to, and kind-hearted in the ways that mattered most.
Ralph was born to KD Holloway & Emmie Boggs. He graduated from Pensacola high school and continued his education at Binks spray equipment school, earning a diploma that reflected his steady commitment to learning a trade and doing things well.
At an early age, Ralph joined the US Navy and was honorably discharged. His service stands as a meaningful chapter of a life marked by duty and perseverance.
On October 8, 1996, Ralph met and fell in love with Raquel Godinez, and they were married. Ralph also leaves behind 24 nieces and nephews to cherish his memories.
Ralph found genuine enjoyment in the things he loved—especially his passion for cars and the quiet satisfaction of collecting coins, interests that spoke to his appreciation for craftsmanship, history, and the simple pleasures of a well-lived life.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Chula Vista, Serenity Chapel, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910, on September 18, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at the same location on September 18, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A Committal Service will take place at La Vista Memorial Park, 3191 Orange St, National City, CA 91950, on September 18, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
