Uncle, From the little time I have spent with you I have grown to know that you are an exceptional man who is strong in his beliefs, very outspoken to those close to you, passionate about his family, a comedian to those you are comfortable with and very open in welcoming others you can connect with. From getting to know you better uncle, I am thankful for the opportunity to have been able to be a part of your life. Your memory will live forever with those who know and love you.

Rest in harmony Uncle! We love you very much! Thank you for everything. We will always cherish the moments that you shared with us. May you find the joy wherever you are.

If I could write to you and say my final goodbyes, this is what I'd like you to know. I want to thank you so much for being there. I never was able to tell you but especially after JJ and my dad were killed, I looked greatly up to you and saw you as my real father figure without any hesitation in mind. I could come to you with questions and just learn and observe how you did things in your life and what experiences you gained from them. Although you passed certainly quick I have a sense of closure knowing that me and Tata were able to spend time with you as you were slowly approaching your final days with us. I am grateful that god allowed you to come back to us in the states so that you were able to rest peacefully with your sons, mama, and family surrounding you. I'm going to miss your dirty jokes, I'm going to miss your sense of humor towards things. I'm going to miss your honesty about things that you weren't afraid to say &it was always for a reason. I'm going to miss walking to the front house while mama is at work and asking you "Pa! How are you feeling? Are you ok?!!", "Did you eat!!?" Man, pa just like we would converse and discuss; you really just never know when life is going to be cut short. I see so much of you in Tata, pa. The way he thinks over things logically, how he see's situations and uses his intuition. I can tell you that I admire him so much as a husband, a father &overall as a MAN, and I can turn to you and thank for being the man that raised him with those traits. Bits and pieces of you are left behind in your three sons, pa. I pray that you will be resting in peace and that you watch over and protect our family as we grow older in this life that we live. Pa, you'll never be forgotten I can guarantee you that. I love you with all my heart, Steph.

We will miss you Pa, you are my hero the best father a son could ever have. I'm proud to be your son, you taught me how to be a man and to make the right & smart decisions in life. My best memories are all of the times we would sit down & talk about life in general. Those memories I will always keep with me. You were a strong man, also a lot of times a comedian. Very understanding but can also be very stubborn. Honesty & loyalty was important to you and that is a value I will always live by. I'm glad you made it back home from the Philippines and was able to spend time with the family and especially with your grand kids before you left. I feel good knowing that your resting in heaven and that you didn't suffer because that was the last thing you wanted for yourself. You went out the way you wanted, but I wish you could've stayed with us a little longer. I love you Pa & I miss you. See you in the afterlife rest in peace. Your proud son Ta.
