Robert (Bob) Eugene Gates Sr. of Chula Vista passed away on April 12, 2012.Bob was a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado and a graduate of the University of Colorado, where he earned his Master's degree. Bob proudly served 25 years in the U.S. Air Force which offered him the opportunity to become a world wide traveler.
In addition, he was a published author later in his life. He published two (political) books between the ages of 84 and 89.
Bob is survived by his son, Robert E.Gates, Jr. and his daughter in law, Maritza Gates.
Cremation will be completed.
