Robert Maynard Wheeler

Robert "Bob" Maynard Wheeler born November 30, 1948 to Maynard P. Wheeler and Fern (Sitz) Wheeler in Bigfork, Minnesota passed away March 27, 2015 in San Diego, California. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Dianne Wheeler; daughters Mandie (Greg) Brumett and Bobbie Lynn (Sam) May; grandchildren Leila May, Ethan Brumett, Cody Brumett and Makenna May; brother Richard Wheeler; uncle Wayne Wheeler; aunts Jennie Wheeler and June Southworth.

Bob moved to San Diego when he around 8 years old. Bob was a loving family man who also loved to go camping, hunting, fishing. He was into sports He played softball for the Greenwood Mortuary team. He was a big football fan. His favorite teams were Minnesota Viking and San Diego Chargers. Most of all he loved to ride his motorcycle.

Bob worked for S.C.I. for over 30 years and spent the majority of his time at Greenwood Memorial Park and Mortuary Crematory and Cypress View Crematory. He began his career as an apprentice embalmer, then moved up to prep room supervisor, head of security and finally senior Crematory Operator.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 6:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey: 753 Broadway, Chula Vista CA 91910.
