Ronald Lewis Coulter graduated from Phillips High School, Birmingham, Alabama and received 3 degrees, first Tool and Die Engineering degree and Associate degree in criminal Justice from Southwestern Collage, Chula Vista, Ca.

He was married to 2 wonderful ladies, first was Virginia Mae Coulter 08/22/1942 and the second was Flossie Merkle 03/05/2014.

Ronald Lewis Coulter worked/ had a career in Tool and Manufacturing Engineer, Sr. for Rohr Industry, Chula Vista, California. Ronald also served in the United States Armed Forces.

Branch: Army, Final Rank: Staff Sgt.

Awards: American Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal and WWII Victory Medal.

He was a member of Rohr Square & Compass Club, National City Police Reserves, Professional Engineering Association & Civil Defense Manager for National City, California and had a passion for being an HAM Radio Operator – his call sign was: “WB6JQI”

He was survived by his children: Roy Coulter, Nina Lundquist and Gina Sullivan

His grandchildren: Heidi Coulter, Michael Drury, Mark Drury, Jason Sullivan, David Sullivan and several great grandchildren. Sisters: Evelyn Campbell and Helen Morris.

Funeral will be held on January 29th, 2022 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral home, Trussville, Alabama
