Most who were fortunate to know Ronnie will agree he was a very "down to earth" man. He was an excellent Listener and gave honest opinions when solicited. He looked within to find the good in all he came in contact with. He was deeply passionate about his family and his wide circle of friends.
He truly loved being a grandfather "Pappa" and loved his two granddaughters, Savannah and Madison with a passion. He always made sure they were not lacking for anything if he could help and encouraged them to always see the good in people.
He loved relaxing on Sundays with "Sunday Oldies" music accompanied with his “Patron”. He loved being a part of the Latino community. His constant connection to the community kept him in touch with many of the friends he grew up with since junior high school. Camping in their RV was one of Ronnie’s greatest pleasures. Enjoyed taking his Harley out on long mountain rides with Chris and friends who share a passion for riding.
Another constant that most will reflect on is dancing with "his Lady" Christine as part of all festive function they attended. Once they were on the dance floor, all knew that the party was ON. Ronnie and Christine 's hearts first met in 1967 and life united them in 1977.
Ronnie always seemed to possess a never-ending collection of acquaintances. His friends found him easy to know and get along with because of his talent for being socially at ease, adept to conversation and always amiable in his dealings with others. Ronnie would always seek to learn what his friends enjoyed.
Ronnie had a personal relationship with God and embraced giving honor to the Blessed Mother. He also had a colorful insight to the spiritual side of our world.
You will be deeply missed by all, good Servant. Now your time has come to be with Our Lord and Savior. Que vaya con Dios, y que Dios te bendiga.
