To my dearest Auntie Eileen, Helen, Joanna and family. I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Roy's passing. In your grief and sadness though, you can be lifted by the knowledge that you all shared such love and friendship as a family and that he lived a full, wonderful life. My childhood and adult memories are of a jovial, giant of a man who always had a twinkle in his eyes, thirsted for knowledge and shared his talents and everything so generously! We both had an interest in genealogy and on my last visit, oh so many years ago; we were able to fill in some of the gaps of the family tree and I'm so glad that whilst in your home, I was able to sit, listen & watch him play the violin as part of a quartet. You are all in my hearts and I hope that you may be surrounded by and your hearts comforted by peace. My love always - Rachael xxx

Jean-luc, Luca and I are so very sorry that Roy has passed. We loved him for all he was to Eileen, Joanna and Helen, their family and their friends. I always felt special in his presence - talking, laughing or playing music with him. Roy was a beautiful human being with such intellect and love. I'lll never forget the speech for the toast he said at Helen's wedding. Perfect. He was gentle, caring and sweet. The world will not be the same without him. He will be sorely missed. We send our condolences to the family. With Love, Suzanna, Jean-luc and Luca Gignac
