Sandy Ozua

Sandy's partner and love of her life, Maximo Escobedo, survives her as well as their three children; Maximo Alex, Hailey Jilaine and Nathan. Also surviving her are her parents and four siblings; Kenneth Ozua, Aracely Ozua, Saturino Ozua Jr. and Brian Ulysses Ozua.

Sandy worked as a notary in Rest Estate, but her true calling was her family. She loved taking excellent care of her children and created a lovely home for them. One of her passions was gardening and creating a colorful and lush garden for all to enjoy. When time permitted, her favorite hang-out and relaxation place was the beach. She enjoyed walking the seashore and taking in the sunset. Sandy will be remembered for her kind and caring nature by family as well as her many friends.

A celebration of life and visitation service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California, 91910 on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 8086 Broadway Avenue, Lemon Grove, California 91945. Interment to follow at La Vista Memorial Park, 3191 Orange Street, National City, California 91950.
