Silvia Pina

Silvia studied in Mexico and graduated college as a dietitian. On December 17, 1967 she married the love of her life, Enrique Piña. They were blessed with forty-nine years of marriage and three children; daughter Sylvia and sons Enrique Jr. and Eduardo.

Once married Silvia dedicated herself to her family and enjoyed being a stay-at-home mother to her children. Later, when the grandchildren arrived she enjoyed caring for them as well. Her passion was spending time with her grandbabies and having them closeby to love and spoil them as only a grandmother can do. She also enjoyed taking long walks. Other favorites of Silvia was her enjoyment for dancing. Silvia will be greatly missed by not only family but also by friends who knew of her caring and giving nature.

Silvia is survived by her husband, Enrique Piña, daughter Sylvia Mireya Piña, sons Enrique Piña Jr. and Eduardo Piña. Her legacy of grandchildren include Kassandra Garcia, Briana Piña, Marissa I. Piña, Jose Adrian Lopez, Sabrina Piña and Moises E. Piña.

Silvia's life will be celebrated with a memorial service at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey on Saturday, April 8, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Serenity Chapel.
