Thelma Ruth Sparks

Thelma Ruth Sparks, 103, of San Diego Calif., passed away on October 13, 2022. She was born in Hanford Calif. On August 2, 1919. Thelma Ruth Sparks graduated from San Dimas High School and took several college courses later in life. She was married to Stanley B. Sparks on August 20, 1938. Thelma Ruth Sparks had a career in Teaching Religious Release Time. She taught religion in 5 different schools. Thelma Ruth Sparks was a member of Pomona Women's club. She loved to China Paint and enjoyed traveling to the Holy Land and Europe with her husband Stanley Sparks. She also enjoyed being in several church women's groups. Thelma Ruth Sparks had 2 sons that preceded in her death: Stanley F. Sparks and Tommie S. Sparks. She is survived by her Daughter: Ruth Dabney and Son-in-Law James Dabney and Son: Jerry Sparks and a Daugher-in¬Law Sallie Sparks who was married to Tommie Sparks. She had many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Graveside service for family will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m at

Pomona Cemetery. Memorial Service will be on November 5, 2022 at 11:00 am at Bethany Assembly 916 Hollister St. San Diego Ca. 91910 and a potluck to follow.
