Tim Darton, a retired National City Police Department Detective, passed away Dec. 29, 2022 in Chula Vista surrounded by his family and loved ones. Born to William and Kathleen Darton February 7, 1951 in San Diego, he is survived by sister; Christine, two sons Matthew and Christopher (Megan). Tim has also left behind his loving partner Francoise, her children David (Mary), Lana and Eric, and five grandchildren.
Tim enjoyed his 21 years in law enforcement and was thankful for the numerous anecdotes and friendships. He also worked for Sycuan for an additional 16 years before retiring. No services are being held per Tim’s wishes.
