

After a full life, Virginia Hernandez Croce, passed peacefully from this life to eternity on November 1, 2022 with her children by her side. Virginia was born on January 11, 1931 to Luis Hernandez and Atilana Zuniga in Kansas City, Kansas. She was raised in Guadalajara, Mexico and later moved with her mother and siblings to Tijuana, Mexico. She married Federico Croce, a close friend of the family, when she was only seventeen years old. Virginia worked at Ratner’s Company for fifteen years a place where they manufactured suits for men. She was strong, hardworking, firm and caring mother, wife, sister, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and dear friend who will dearly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Virginia’s greatest love and joy was her family, crocheting, working out in her garden, traveling to Guadalajara and cooking for her family. She will always be remembered for her endless generosity, strong character and helping her family and friends in need. Virginia was a lifelong devout Catholic and a member of our Lady Of Guadalupe in Chula Vista, California.
In God’s infinite wisdom, He decided to have Virginia with Him leaving those she loved to remember and honor her valuable lessons. She is survived by a large and loving family. Daughters: Gloria Nuño, Ana Badillo, Magdalena Croce Gracia and Son: Miguel Angel Croce. Grandchildren: Ernesto Croce, Leticia Croce, Bertha Alicia Croce, Christina Croce Grajeda, Genaro Croce, Ricardo Nuño, Cynthia Ruelas, Cesar Gracia, Laura Gracia Murillo, Mario Croce, Rene Croce and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren plus several nephews and nieces.
Virginia is preceded by death by her husband, Federico Croce, son, Genaro Croce and her parents and a total of 6 brothers and sisters.
