Virginia Mascardo Ednalino

Virginia M. Ednalino, 68 years old, of Chula Vista, California, passed away on June 21, 2017. She was the third of six children born to Raymundo and Amada Mascardo. She was born in Kawit, Cavite, Philippines on October 30, 1948.

"Gigi", as affectionately known, graduated from St. Joseph's School and received a Business Administration degree from University Of The East, Philippines.

She married the love of her life, Jose E. Ednalino on October 27, 1974. They were blessed with 43 years of marriage and two children; son Janan and daughter Jenielle.

When not busy caring for her family, Gigi enjoyed watching Filipino Tele-Seryes, (especially AlDub's), home decorating, and spending time with family and siblings discussing fashion trends and making all laugh by telling jokes. Also a favorite, were the long walks with husband Joey, chatting, laughing and enjoying life. Her favorite vacation as she would love to share was Maui, Hawaii. Gigi will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.

Gigi is survived by her beloved husband, Jose, son Janan and daughter Jenielle. In addition her siblings, and many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life and visitation will be held on two consecutive days at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, Tuesday, June 27, and Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. A procession will follow to Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita for interment.
