Those closest to Vladimir knew a man whose steady resilience met life with quiet strength, and whose patience offered calm in moments that asked for it most. He carried himself with a kind-hearted spirit that made others feel seen and valued, and even in serious times, his gentle humor could lighten a room—never diminishing the moment, only reminding others of warmth and humanity. In these ways, Vladimir was truly beloved.
He was meticulous, detailed, had particulars .... and something to affect that he fought his battle with cancer for a short time never complained or should cancer be even brought up.
He will be joining his parents Flaviano M. Abalos, Jr and Aurora Chiong Buhain, leaving behind his older siblings Maripie B. Abalos, Flaviano B. Abalos, and Omar B. Abalos....only niece and nephew, Alexa Abalos Gonzalez (Alejandro Martinez Jr.) and Gabriel Abalos Gonzalez and grandniece and nephews, Irie Gonzalez Martinez, Alejandro Gonzalez Martinez and Noah Gonzalez Martinez.
This also includes his many uncles, aunts, cousins from California, east coast and Philippines.
A Viewing will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Chula Vista, Serenity Chapel, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California 91910, on September 11, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at Mater Dei Catholic Church, 1571 Magdalena Ave, Chula Vista, CA 91913, on September 12, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Final Resting Place will follow at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Rd, Bonita, California 91902, US, on September 12, 2026, at 11:30 am.
