

Born on January 23, 1974 in Balboa Hospital in San Diego, California, Vladimir will be remembered with deep respect and love by his family, friends, and those who knew him.
After Vladimir spent several years as a child living in a military base in Annapolis, Maryland, he and his family moved back to San Diego where he was raised in San Ysidro, California.
Vladimir was a resilient, intelligent, strong, witty, and amiable individual. He was meticulous, detail-oriented, with particulars.
He took pride in doing things the right way and carried himself with a kind-hearted spirit that made others feel valued and loved. His gentle humor had a charismatic way of brightening a room, reminding every one of his warmth, hospitality, and positivity.
Vladimir was a fan of San Diego Chargers and the Padres. During his youth, he was actively involved in Pop Warner football and Tae Kwon Do. Vladimir held full time jobs in the construction and remodeling industry, specializing in paint and tiles.
During his brief battle with cancer, he remained steady, strong, and calm. He took on the challenge without complaint. He was a true warrior.
He will be reunited with his beloved parents, Flaviano Madarang Abalos, Jr. and Aurora Chiong Buhain Abalos, who preceded him in passing. As well as his grandparents Flaviano Rayray Abalos, Sr & Maura Macaraeg Madarang Abalos and Angela Diaz Madarang Abalos (step grandmother) on paternal side, and Moises Manio Buhain & Purificacion Montevirgen Chiong Buhain on maternal side.
He leaves behind his older siblings, Maripie B. Abalos, Flaviano B. Abalos III, and Omar B. Abalos, his nephew Gabriel Abalos Gonzalez, niece Alexa Abalos Gonzalez, her partner, Alejandro Martinez Jr., and their children, Irie Gonzalez Martinez, Alejandro Gonzalez Martinez, and Noah Gonzalez Martinez. Also included, his many uncles, aunts, and cousins from California, east coast, and Philippines.
A viewing will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Chula Vista, Serenity Chapel, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California 91910, on Friday September 11, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 11:59 pm.
A vigil will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Chula Vista, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California 91910, on Friday September 11, 2026, at 6:30 pm.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at Mater Dei Catholic Church, 1571 Magdalena Ave, Chula Vista, CA 91913, on Saturday September 12, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Final resting place will be at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Rd, Bonita, California 91902, US, on Saturday September 12, 2026, at 11:30 am.
