Windelina is survived by her husband, Ulysses A Nankil; son Glenn Nankil; daughter-in-law Steffanie Nankil; son Wayne Nankil; daughter-in-law Karen Nankil; daughter Cindy Besta; and son-in-law Edward Besta; sister Ophelia Famisan, brother Winifredo Bactad, brother Warner Bactad and sister Tessie Almero; grandson Nathan Nankil, grandson Dominic Nankil, granddaughter Madeleine Nankil, grandson William Nankil, granddaughter Maggie Jo Besta and granddaughter Mia Lu Nankil.

A viewing for Windelina was held Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Chula Vista, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. A viewing & vigil service was held Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA. A mass of the resurrection will occur Friday, March 15, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 450 Corral Canyon Rd, Bonita Rd, CA 91908. Windelina final resting place is at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Rd., Bonita, CA 91902.
