Alejandra L Rodriguez

Our loving mother Alejandra Ledesma Rodriguez entered her eternal rest on: February 2, 2012, surrounded by her loving children, and grandchildren. Alejandra was 89 years old. She is survived by her three children, Leonor R. Pascual (Norberto Pascual), Isaac Rodriguez (Nancy Rodriguez) and Josephine L. Rodriguez. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Santiago Ruiz, Refugio Ruiz, Johnny Joe Ruiz, Isabel Ruiz, Christopher L. Pascual, and Graciela Rodriguez Kayl.

She is also survived by her eldest sister Theodora Trevino of San Antonio, Texas, and by an extensive family of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Alejandra was preceded in death by her son Salvador Rodriguez Jr. and her loving husband of 33 years Salvador Rodriguez, and by her grand-daughter Angelic Y. Rodriguez.

Alejandra was born in San Antonio, Texas to Santiago and Leonor V. Ledesma on December 13, 1922. She lived in San Antonio and moved to California in 1979. She very graciously devoted her life to all of her children and to her grand and great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a host of friends, anyone who knew her can attest to her warm but spunky personality. She is best remembered for the great Mexican food she shared with her family and her friends. She will be greatly missed, we learned much from our mother who was a God fearing woman. She enjoyed working with her flowers and plants and regularly attended Saint Lawrence Catholic Church until she could no longer, due to illness. A viewing will be held at Reichert's Funeral Home at 7320 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights, California on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 4pm-8pm. A memorial mass and the celebration of Alejandra's life will be held on Wednesday February 8, 2012 at 10:30am at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church at 4325 Don Julio Blvd, North Highlands, CA.
