Angel Lopez Orozco

Angel Lopez Orozco was born on August 17, 1933, in Ogden, Utah, and passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, at the age of 92. He leaves behind a loving family of children, grandchildren, a brother, extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Angel proudly served his country as a United States Army veteran during the Korean War. After his military service, he built a 40-year career with the Southern Pacific Railroad, where he was known for his hard work, dedication, and commitment.

Angel shared a loving life with his beloved wife, Helen, with whom he spent 45 years creating memories and building a family. After her passing in 2013, he carried her memory with him, and he will now be laid to rest beside her.

Family was the center of Angel’s life. He was a generous, loving man who his family could always count on. He showed his love through his cooking, which brought family and loved ones together. He enjoyed dancing, listening to mariachi music, and watching football. These simple joys reflected his love for life and the people who meant the most to him.

Angel’s heart was especially touched by the love of his loyal dog and constant companion. Their connection was one of unconditional love and devotion. His beloved furry friend followed him shortly after, leaving behind a beautiful reminder of the bond they shared.

Angel’s kindness, strength, sense of humor and unwavering love will remain forever in the hearts of all who know and loved him.

A funeral service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, where Angel will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Helen.
