Eileen had such a beautiful welcome to anyone she met.  I never remember her frown...only that full smile.  She was so talented and serviced so many with her knowledge and suggestions.  Think of her often.  Never knew she was sick.  Last reunion she was alittle quiter than Eileen normally was.

I can't believe it's been four years.  Eileen was a loyal friend who was always there for me with a helping hand. I remember when she volunteered to watch my five dogs -- in spite of not having any pets of her own -- so I could take a short vacation.  I'm sure my "Muttley Crew" were quite a handful for her.  All she ever shared though was that they behaved themselves and she was glad I was able to get away.   Sending her a BIG HUG!  

I often recall when Eileen came to the UK and how she loved the bluebell woods and really enjoyed her visit to famous Leeds Castle. Seems so long ago now but memories stay with you

Eileen  and I grew up together.   Her father would drive us to Junior College.  Eileen was such a go-getter regarding  her alliance with San Juan High.  I attended her funeral and she even made arrangements to feed us.  I happen to see Eileen at the all-class reunion at  Royer Park..she never mentioned her health issues.  Sorry to have lost her... especially since I have moved back home.  gbell

   

Wondered why my Christmas card was returned today. Was so shocked to see that Eileen had passed away. After many years of being pen friends we visited her and then she visited us in the UK. Have a lovely photo of us in the English Bluebell woods. We only rarely kept in touch in recent years but she was often in my thoughts. I didn’t know she was sick. 

I am so sorry to see that Eileen had passed, but glad she is no longer suffering.  I will miss her.  A very caring and lovely person.

To the family of Eileen- I am so saddened of the passing of my friend. 

She will definitely be welcomed into her new home. Always so positive and putting her trust in God’s hands. 

We worked together at Mule Creek State Prison.  She welcomed me on my first day with open arms and that openness continued throughout our time together.

I met Eileen about 26 years ago when she was working as a Loaned Executive, from the Department of Corrections, with the California state employees charitable campaign via the United Way.  I had just returned to the Sacramento area after being gone for over a decade, and was hired to provide administrative support to the campaign.  Eileen befriended me and so began a decades long friendship.  Eileen was very passionate about, and tremendously giving to, her friends.  You could always count on her to help you out when needed.  I last saw Eileen in late September of this year when we got together for my birthday.  At this time she was still her cheery self and commented that she believed she continued to be here on this earth because the good Lord still had some things he needed for her to do.  I will cherish this last visit greatly.  Attached is a picture of us together taken several moons ago.  This is how I want to remember her.
