Frances Lenora Greer, age 84, of Citrus Heights, CA passed away at her home on Sunday, July 24, 2022. She had all her family present surrounding her with love as she passed.
Frances was born January 25, 1938 in Los Angeles, CA to Eliga Lee and Myrtle Ann McCurry, the 7th of 8 children.
She was raised in Oroville. She was in the OHS class of 1955. She stayed active in class reunions for many years and was a member of the “Golden Girls of OHS 55”.
She was a self taught carpenter/woodworker who, alongside her husband Bob, made many cherished mementos for family over the years.
She loved her family and treasured her memories of them throughout her life. She was an avid amateur genealogist for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60+ years, Bob Lee Greer in 2020.
She is survived by her daughters LeAnn (Lee) Miller and Toni Greer, her grandchildren Nicole Langton (Andrew McPherson), Elizabeth Baker (Daniel Barton), Mecaela (Nic) Meerholz, David (Angel) Ward, Nicholas (Megan) Miller, her great-grandchildren Haley Olsen, Dillon and Addyson Ward, Sam and Elliot Langton, her brother Dan (Nellie) McCurry, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service for Frances will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Reichert's Funeral Services 7320 Auburn Blvd Citrus Heights, CA 95610 with Burial to follow at Sylvan District Cemetery 7401 Auburn Blvd Citrus Heights, CA 95610.
