Thank you for your service to our community.  When I was 16, you had an important hand in saving my life after a terrible car accident in Anaheim.  Sorry I did not tell you sooner, Thank you. My prayers for you and your family will continue.

I only had the chance to meet you once, and even though my contact with you was short, I feel honored to have had met and shaken hands with you. Even though we'd known each other personally so little, I know so much about you. And I know that you will be missed and remembered not only by your friends and family, but also by those farther out. I'll never forget the time I met you, Gail.

Gail....
You were a person had that "Knack" to deliver your knowledge and experience in such a manor that people just "Got it". You were a great fire service mentor. It was a privilege to learn under your tutelage. May you rest in eternity and watch over us still left behind.

I will always remember you with a smile on your face. You were always kind, helpful and considerate. You will be missed by many and remembered by all who knew your goodness. My prayers are with your family and those who loved you. Our loss is heaven's gain.

You were a true hero being in the military and part of the fire department, serving everyone! When I look at myself in the mirror, I see your red hair, and I thank you for that. I wish I wouldn't of grown up thousands of miles away from you, but live life as it is. I believe you lived life to the fullest and that's amazing. I miss going places with you and walking with you to the mailbox and waiting for Natalie to come home from school. You will dearly be missed but never ever forgotten. I love you so much grandpa

You were always larger than life to me. My rock is gone but you are at peace now. Heaven gained an angel. I look forward to the day I will see you again. Know that I love you so much and a part of me went with you. Gone but never forgotten.

There are no words in any language that I know that can express my thanks and love for you. So many people throw the word hero around, but you are and will remain my biggest hero. You were always an awesome father no matter how tired you were or how wrong I was. I am eternally thankful for and proud of you. 

You will never be forgotten but eternally thought of. 

My father worked for the Anaheim Fire Department before uncle Sam shipped him off to south east Asia. When he returned home he returned to Anaheim Fire Department. He then went to Aptos La Selva Fire District. My father then went to Folsom Fire Department, where he finally retired. He proudly served in the Fire service for more than 40 years. 

I just want to say thank you to everyone for their prayers and kind words. My family and I are so thankful for all of your love and support. May the Lord bless you all.

Oh Gail, you are gone from us.  We pray for your happy and blessed repose.  You did so much for the California Fire Service for all those years.  Our good Friend Mike Doty once said "not many Firemen know the Fire Code or the Building Code like Gail".  Let it be said, that it is certain Mike was there at The Gate with Saint Peter to welcome you aboard.
