Yes it's been a sad year without you. You were the light in my mother's eye. I know not a day goes by without her thoughts of you. A very talented man who lit up any room with humor and intelligence, your presence was always large and happy. A cheerful step-dad, you provided for me as a bratty kid, and really gave my mom a wonderful life.. I am very sad that I can never laugh with you again. I will miss you always.... Fly with Angels

George was my Dads' broker during the last years of his life (he passed in 1986). I remember how highly my father thought of George and the outstanding service that he provided. My condolences to the family.

I had the pleasure of meeting George on one occasion when I went to do some work on his and Jan's computer. He joking mentioned that I had showed up during Happy Hour and he even brought me one of my favorite beers. He was a very kind and good man, and I know that he will be missed and fondly remembered by everyone who knew him. My warmest condolences go out to Jan, Kathleen, and the rest of the family.

George would jet into our Robertson Ave. home around dinner time unannounced. My husband Michael and I would drop everything and play a few games of cribbage. We had so much fun and many laughs. As a newlywed in 1966 I was just delighted to have George as a friend. He brought with him a ray of sunshine. I am so sorry to read of his death. My sympathy goes to all of the Adams family.

Our hearts go out to Jan (Mom) and to all of the family. It is so difficult to comprehend that "George", such an energetic presence is gone from this world. George always had a smile, a joke, and lively conversation for those around him. His laughter, his music, and his zest for life will be missed by all. We will especially miss George and Kyle (his stepgrandson) playing cribbage, cards or dominoes during our family gatherings. We will always cherish the memories of a very good man.
