I was so saddened by this news, George was always such a freindly guy, always smiling and never did I hear an unkind word about  anybody.  He will be forever missed. Although, we can rest that he is in Heaven sitting in his mansion:)  Much love to you George and condolences to all the family.

George was a gentle soul with a kind heart. He was a loyal friend and a wonderful listener--we are all blessed to have had his influence in our lives.

I haven't seen George in a very long time.  Yet memories of his 4-wheeling times in high school fill my memory.  He was always a kind soul, I imagine that remained through the years.  Condolences to his family.

We are sad to hear of George's passing.  We are grateful George was able to help us restore a nearly 100 year old water tower/pump house about four years ago on the property of my childhood home. My thoughts and prayers are with you.  I have many fond memories of George from our school days at Grafton Elementary through WHS...and riding the bus!  He was a wonderful soul and will be deeply missed by the lives he touched.

As an enlisted aircrewman you soared the heavens in the back of an army helicopter, now as you go to be with god you will forever soar the heavens and look down upon us. rest in peace friend you you touched the lives of many, as a comrade in arms and a fellow crewchief i will always remember you and never forget you.

George was my friend. I thought of him like a brother. We shared a lot of great times together and as long as I live I will always remember him as a friend who was always there when I needed him. My thoughts and prayers are with Patti, his daughters and all his brothers and sisters. RIP my friend.

I first met George through my brother Billy and husband Bobby when they were all in high school.  When George went to the service he used to write me letters.  We have remained friends over the years.  I am so sorry for your loss and am glad Bobby and Raymond got to spend Wednesday evening with George.  I will keep you all in my prayers

George was my neighbor a few years ago on Walnut st.  He had such a soft heart and helped me out when I needed it the most.  A rare guy.  Honest and giving.  George you were one of a kind.  My condolences to the family.

George was the best friend anyone could ever hope to have.....funny,  honest, loyal.  He'll be missed by so many.
