Jeanette L Hinson

Born November 21, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA Jeanette passed away April 2, 2011 in Sacramento at the age of 72. A long time resident of the area, Jeanette was a Christian lady who loved the Lord and was a member of Calvary Christian Center. She was one of Northern California’s advocates for the Million Woman March and also belonged to the National Brotherhood of Skiers, the Blazers Philadelphia chapter. An outgoing woman with many friends she loved to travel and had a deep interest in cultural history. Jeanette was devoted to her family and will be remembered as a strong, courageous, beautiful lady who was full of life and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Jeanette is survived by her loving family; children Juana Reyes, Donna Hinson, Adrian (LaTasha) Hinson and Ayanna Dudley, sisters Shirley Roundtree and Lillian Gaskins-Green and grandchildren Brandon Frazier, Frederick Broussard, Jordan and Aiden Dudley, Shailen and Lauren Hinson, Ahmia Crowley and Franki Mitchell. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Reichert’s Funeral Chapel.
