Leo will always be remembered for having his garage open to all of his neighbors, friends, and family to work on their cars and trucks. He was generous to a fault.
He was a loving father and grandfather. One of his greatest passions was helping others. Leo was truly one of a kind, he loved people and animals on equal terms. He told a good story and lived one as well. Leo loved country music and was one of the best dancers on the dance floor.
When you asked Leo how he was doing he would always say "Happier than a pig in a mud puddle !" Leo fought a courageous battle like he lived his life, fearless and brave like a lion. His journey on earth may have ended but he will be treasured and held close to our hearts. His life will be celebrated.
The family wishes to thank Brookdale caregivers, and the Veterans Administration for their loving care and support.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the SPCA in Leo's name would be appreciated.
