Precious wife, dearest mother and warm and loving friend passed away peacefully at home from natural causes on January 6, 2012, in Sacramento, CA, at the age of 87. Lilias was born in Auckland, New Zealand, on January 24, 1924, to a large family of Scottish descent. She grew up during the depression and fell in love with her husband, Paul, during WWII, while Paul was serving in the United States Marine Corps in New Zealand. After the war, Lilias became a “war” bride and moved to the United States where she and Paul raised a family.
Lilias and Paul were married for 67 years. Lilias loved sharing time with family and friends but most of all she loved Paul and Paul loved her.
Lilias is survived by her husband Paul; three sons, Paul Farley Jr. and Mark Farley of Sacramento, CA, and Gregg Farley of Los Angeles, CA; her daughter-in-law Patty Farley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At her request memorial services will not be held.
