

Lorna Gayle Jerrell passed away and was received into her savior's arms on August 21, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Anita and Lee Meffered, husbands George Ogden and Edward Jerrell, siblings Dean Mefferd, Lynn Meffered, and Janet Doss, daughter Cindy Ogden, son Russell Ogden, and son in law John Weck. She is survived by sister Marva Moss, children Shelly Weck, Joan Jerrell, Edward Jerrell and Kim Foster, grandchildren Myles and Mason Weck, Alex Albert, Karen Grillet, and Sydney Ogden; as well as many dear family members and friends whom she considered as family. She was born on May 3rd, 1940 in Logan Iowa and as a young family moved with her family to Live Oak, California. She enjoyed living the country life and working in the almond orchids. After highschool, she met and married George Ogden. They moved to Los Angeles to start their married life. After george's passing in 1973, she moved with her children to Fair Oaks, California to be closer to family. She met Edward Jerrell in square dancing, and in 1982 they were married. She worked for 20 years with the San Juan School District as an administrative secretary for Carnegie Jr High School. She enjoyed her job, but was happy once retired to spend more time with family and doing things she loved. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the rock of the family, and was a constant support to all. She loved her grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed going to bible study, watching game shows, and other light hearted TV shows, gardening, going to craft shows, reading, getting her nails done, and spending time with her family and good friends. Breakfast was her favorite meal, but she also loved her diet coke, cheetos, In and Out Burger, and Mexican food. She was a fun, kind, giving, gracious soul who will be dearly missed beyond words by all those who had the blessing to have her in their lives.
