Mary A. Copeland passed away peacefully the morning of September 4, 2012 at the age of 84. Mary was born in Nashville TN to Jesse and Ruby Copeland and attended school there, graduating from Litton High in 1946 and Peabody College of Vanderbilt University in 1949. It was there that Mary met her husband of 65 years, Wallace Copeland. In 1954, Mary and Wallace moved to California where Mary taught school for 30 years, mostly in Fremont, CA. Mary retired with Wallace to Pleasanton CA before moving to Roseville, CA.
Mary is survived by her husband Wallace, sons Jere Copeland (Desiree) of Pollock Pines, CA and Mark Copeland (Priti) of Roseville, grandson Thomas Copeland of Hayward, CA and sister Betty Falbe of Goodlettsville, TN. She is missed by all of us.
Mary was very active in her church in Fremont, Pleasanton and most recently the Adventure Church in Rocklin.
