Señora Scott always believed in me. She took time out from her breaks just to talk with me. Muchas gracias señora, que descanse en paz.

Señora Scott was such a wonderful woman and I know I was blessed to have her as my teacher over twenty years ago.  She was so patient and kind.  I know she will be missed here on earth, but welcomed into Heaven.

My condolences to the family.   She will always remain fondly in our memories and hearts.

Senora Scott was my Spanish teacher for 3 years at Rio Americano.  She patiently tolerated my adolescent  antics in class while ensuring I excelled.  she took us to dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Carmichael as we prepared to graduate, as well as a field trip to CSUS to watch "Viva Zapata."  We never met again after graduation 39 years ago, but I never forgot her - and never will.

I have fond memories of Senora Scott, although I did not excel at Spanish and was not the best student. I spent a semester as her TA and my father has been taking his car to your service station for decades. I am sorry for your loss, may she rest in peace.

My brother and I both had Senora Scott at Rio Americano and she was such a beautiful lady inside and out. She will be so missed and we will never forget how much she touched our lives and the love she had for teaching all of us!

My Favorite Teacher.  I was not the most eager learner of Spanish but she was the most determined teacher I ever met. She always stayed late after school, often accompanied by me and a few others who fell short of her expectations. I will always remember her.

To the California Scotts, Our hearts ache as one, tears we shed as one. We rejoice in the memories of Mayme as the grief passes slowly. We are comforted as she suffers no more. Eternal peace and joy she has found at last in the arms of the lord. We will grieve not forever for we shall meet again on the other side.

Senora Scott was my Spanish teacher for two semesters. I'll never forget the first day of class, when she explained that different countries use different dialects, and that we would be learning the dialect used in Mexico. I thought to my 16 year old self "Well that makes sense, because I'm in California and I'll probably go to Mexico, but Spain? That's so far away." I'm now in my 40's and I have spent a grand total of 4 days in Mexico and almost 3 years in Spain. :) This always makes me laugh. 
Senora Scott was an engaging and respected teacher, and I will never forget her. Rest in Peace, and thanks for sharing your knowledge. It really did help me out, even in Spain. :)

Mayme a dear sister in the Lord, a loving mother-in-law to our daughter Tami, a loving grandmother, a loving mother, a loving wife.  We are missing you until we are together again in heaven.
