You are in my every thought!
Oh Opa, Thank you for the dream the other night, I needed that. I will never get over how easy you made it to love you, and that will never stop. Fisher and Jessa talk about you all the time and Jessa asked me yesterday if she could have her "own" picture of you. My heart aches so bad it hurts, but we will hug again someday, I know it!

Dick was my cousin and Jerry and him would come by the house and toss me back and forth like a basket ball. As you can imagine he was older than me. He was great. I will miss him very much. I always enjoyed talking with him and the e-mails that he sent on a regular bases. My thoughts and prayers are with Lilo and children. Love Roberta Blevins Barton(Bobbii1968@sbcglobal.net)

Richard, you were one of the delights of my life. Meeting you through Bud and Leo brought countless moments of joy. I hope you miss my heckling you as much as I enjoyed making you blush. I cannot help but feel the love you have left behind. Thanks for coming into my life. Ruby would wait for me to come home from golf and ask what did you do to Richard? I hope nothing bad. I cannot help but remember at Rebeccas wedding you offered to buy me a drink and than I found out they were free!!!!!!!!!! God Bless You (keep telling your stories. With Love

Uncle Dick, Thank you for visiting all of us in Indiana for so many years. I always enjoyed playing golf with you and dad when you were here. I loved the way you and dad would heckel each other like true brothers do. I know you and dad are playing the best golf courses in heaven right now. Hit them long and straight until we can play together again.

Richard, or Opa as my sisters and I called you (because you let us), we miss you so much. You were one of the most caring, loving, and wonderful people I have ever met. You were always a gentleman and watched over us kids. You were like a grandpa to us when we didn't have one. I love you and will miss you. To all his family, thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful man with us. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Uncle Dick, I love you. I know you are in heaven with Jesus now, but we, who all love you, are still in shock. I hope that when I get there, I will be able to get close enough to hug you through all the people that love and miss you. I mean, if your not too busy playing golf. Please continue to keep your loving eyes on your family and friends, as we continue to remember and keep you on our hearts, and be comforted by everything and everyone that reminds us of you. With Love
