Sydney Joann Hamilton

Joann, as she liked to be called, was multi-talented in the arts. She was an accomplished pianist, artist, and singer.

Joann lived in Citrus Heights most all of her life. She loved to reminisce about her childhood; and what it was like living in Citrus Heights over the years. She would tell anyone who would listen, about how she lived on a small farm off of Old Auburn Road and would ride her horse "Babe" to school. Another favorite memory was how she sang in a choir that went to Oakland, CA to compete in a statewide event.

Joann loved her family. She is predeceased by her husband Harold "Buck" Hamilton, her son Thomas Berryman, and her daughter JoAnn Vasquez. Joann is survived by her son-in-law Pete Vasquez, Daughter-in-law Elizabeth Berryman, Daughter Roxane Nelson, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her friend Paul Dahnert who helped care for her during her fight with cancer.

Services for Sydney Joann Hamilton will be held 10:00 am Saturday July 9, 2022 at Reichert's Funeral Home located at 7320 Auburn Blvd. Citrus Heights, CA 95610.
