Was born in Craig, Colorado to Claud and Bertha Whitson. She was raised and attended school in Udall, Kansas. Viva was one of four children; Sisters Betty Hough and JuanitaTriplett, Brother Calvin Whitson all from Kansas. Viva retired from McClellan Air Force base after 15 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Buster Brown who she lived with in Citrus Heights for 59 years. Viva is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed but always loved by family, friends, and her dog Casper. In Lieu of flowers please make a donation to the SPCA.
