

William served in the US Air Force for 20 years and retired from the State of California after 22 years. He loved to travel and spent over 300 days cruising with Debra after retirement. He enjoyed family time, buffets, casino visits and cheering on his favorite sport teams, SF 49ers and Sacramento Kings. We will miss his love, laughter, humor and Faith in the Lord. William will always hold a place in our hearts and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
William is remembered by his loving wife of 25 years, Debra Dobrinen; his children, David (Deanna) Dobrinen, Theresa (Jim) Driver of Sacramento, James (Cindy) Dobrinen of Washington and Steven (Colleen) Dobrinen of Nevada; his stepchildren, Kryssie Healy of Citrus Heights and Craig (Kelly) Healy of Idaho. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, extended family members and countless friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Sr and Della Dobrinen, his sister Helen Samarin and his late wife and mother of his four grown children, Diana Dobrinen.
A funeral service and burial for family and friends will be held in his honor on July 22, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at Reichert’s Funeral Home, 7320 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights. The burial is immediately following at East Lawn Cemetery, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento. Please join the family after the service/burial at the Old Spaghetti Factory, 731 Sunrise Ave, Roseville.
