Phyllis Lee Davis

Phyllis was born on June 22, 1953 in Arlington, Virginia to Virginia Phillips Bland and the late Ernest Thomas Shifflett. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her beloved sister Janice Marie Cargill and her cousins Margie Lou Shifflett, Mary Alice WIlliams, Joan Kirkland, and Brenda Lockhart.

She was employed as a Sales Associate and adored by both her co-workers and customers. She enjoyed spending time with her family, including brunch dates and shopping trips. Christmas was always her favorite holiday and she made sure cards were sent, gifts were perfectly bagged, and the Hallmark Channel was on. She always knew the weather forecast days in advance, the status of daily traffic, and when parades and movies would be broadcasted. There was never any question of what she was thinking or how she was feeling because she was direct and unapologetically herself.

She is survived by her mother, Virginia Phillips Bland; siblings, Charles Thomas Shifflett (Rhoda Shifflett), Cheryl Lynn Wright (Jeff Jones), and Stephanie Shifflett Welsh (Ken Welsh); Nieces, Danielle Kirkendall Little (Barry Little), Kristin Lynn Wright (Somer Overby), and Amber Marie Fish (TJ Fish); Nephews, Larry Thomas Shifflett (Penelope Shifflet) and Everette Thomas Allen; Great Nephews, Connor Little, Easton Fish, Zachary Little, and Banks Fish and Great Niece Charlee June Fish.
