On Tuesday March 2, 2021, Clarence Ray Bratton, loving husband and father of two passed away at the age of 78.
Clarence was born on October 6, 1942 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. He married the love of his life, Connie Syva on June 22, 1962. They raised two daughters Debbie and Sherri.
Clarence was a Brick/Stone Mason. He started a business with his brothers, Jamie, Orville, and Gerald, "Bratton Masonry", in 1972. Over the years they built many beautiful buildings that he was very proud of: Heavenly Valley, Pacific Bell Park, S.F. Giants, San Joaquin General Memorial Hospital, El Camino Hospital, Regional Transportation Center, Las Vegas, and many others throughout the state.
He loved southern style homes. He built and designed his dream home in that style.
As a child he loved to fish, go frogging and play baseball. He was very passionate about playing golf. He loved to work, lay stone and build retaining walls out of large boulders.
Clarence is preceded in death by his father Clarence, mother Ollie, brothers Orville and Gerald and sister Ruby. He is survived by his wife Connie, two daughters Debbie and Sherri, five grandchildren, brothers Jamie and Harold and sister Dorothy and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Neighborhood Church, 5505 W. Riggin, Visalia, Ca 93291 at 11:00 a.m.. Flowers may be delivered between 8:30-10:00 a.m. on the day of the funeral.
